Customer-centricity, cost-effectiveness, and the future of omnichannel retail were all hot topics at EuroCIS 2025 — and Flooid was there to weigh–in on the debates.
Our team joined 500 other exhibitors at the at-capacity Düsseldorf event in February.
More than 14,000 trade visitors from 95 nations were also in attendance.
During three action-packed days, our retail experts demonstrated our composable, cloud-native unified commerce solutions, hosted customers from across the continent, and shared our experiences of helping leading retail and hospitality businesses to modernise their instore operations. Hot-button topics such as cashierless checkout, AI, and omnichannel strategies were also touched upon during a productive expo experience.
Richard Barnett, Vice President EMEA and APAC Sales, said: “This was our first time working from a branded Flooid stand at EuroCIS, and was a great opportunity for us to work with our partners at Glory and Acrelec to show our commitment to the DACH and wider EMEA region.
“Our stand looked great and attracted large footfall, many of whom sought us out to discuss endpoint experience strategies, the benefits of composability, or enabling seamless multi-vertical commerce in store.
“It was a successful event and a convenient way to share our thoughts on retail technology innovation, reducing total cost to serve, and leveraging new solutions to enable staff to better serve the customer.”
Flooid chose to attend EuroCIS due to our existing strong footprint with leading European retailers in the grocery, convenience, specialty, fuel, discount and department store space, as well as our increased market presence thanks to our partnerships with Glory and Acrelec.

We shared a stand with Glory and briefed booth visitors on new solutions, like our Empower remote management and loss prevention app for store assistants, along with the benefits of our composable, scalable and extensible platform anchored by resilient multi-sector point of sale solutions. We also showcased our self-checkout, mobile POS, back office and cash office capabilities, and took the time to visit partners and key technology innovators showcasing solutions at the event.
Donna Stevens, Senior Vice President Global Marketing, said: “EuroCIS was a chance to highlight our wide ecosystem of retail solutions, extending to include cash automation and kiosk technology from Glory and Acrelec. We look forward to returning to Germany next February for EuroShop 2026.”
Our team is now preparing for its next exhibition at the Retail Technology Show in London from 2-3 April.
